How to clean

The silver thread woven through your Grounding Sheet is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, so it needs washing less often than ordinary bedding. The thing to protect is its conductivity and that mostly comes down to keeping sweat, skin oils and the wrong products off the fabric.

A few simple habits keep it working:

• Hand wash is strongly recommended.
• Cold water only
• Air dry only, never tumble dry
• Skip bleach and fabric softener
• Avoid whitening or oxi detergents
• Avoid detergents that contain oils, such as lavender or coconut
• No dryer sheets
• Don't iron
• After applying lotion or body oil, wait about an hour before touching the sheet
• Try not to put lotions or oils on your skin right before bed

Why it matters: oils, softeners and harsh additives coat the silver thread, and once that happens the sheet conducts poorly — or stops conducting altogether. Stick to the list above and your sheet keeps doing its job, night after night, for far longer.
